When our client gave us their requirements for this stunning, bespoke Armoire, we simply fell in love with Farrow & Ball’s ‘Calamine’ No. 230.
Delicate pink with a touch of grey
Farrow & Ball say: “Calamine is indeed named after the lotion we all used as children to soothe nettle stings and rashes! A light touch of grey prevents this subtle pink from being too sugary, giving a much fresher finish. In smaller rooms it becomes intense, but in larger well lit rooms it feels much more delicate.”
Custom Lighting and a Cocktail Bar
Our client (with impeccable taste) requested glass shelving and display lighting in the centre cabinets. This beautiful and multifunctional armoire proudly displays family photographs, a home library and a crystal collection. A clever sliding shelf allows for easy access to cocktail ingredients while there is ample storage below for media and flat ware.
